Azúcar Jams was born out of a love for vibrant flavors and culinary traditions passed down through generations. While we’ll always celebrate a good strawberry jam, we are excited to share new and captivating flavors from Latin America and the Caribbean.

Our goal is to bring a taste of these rich culinary traditions to the jam aisle and invite everyone to explore something deliciously new.

Founder Natalia Cardona makes every small batch by hand in Philadelphia, infusing her jams with tropical inspiration from Latin America and the Caribbean. As a child in Guatemala, she watched her mom turn leftover tropical fruit from their family juicery into big batches of jam.

Later, when her family became refugees, two women who welcomed them into Canadian life took them to forage for berries and make jam—moments of care and resilience that shaped her. Those core memories still inspire her jam making today, carrying forward traditions of joy and connection.

Our mission is simple: to bring the taste of sunshine, heritage, and joy to your table—one jar at a time.

As Azúcar jams grows, we pledge to center diversity, inclusion and equity not just in the flavors we bring to our products. But also in our hiring and the people we collaborate with, ensuring our work reflects the vibrant communities that inspire us.

"Un sabor a tradición. Una cucharada de trópico."
